I bought

a Memphis hoodie today. I still can't get it through my head that I was accepted to go to college. It's not because I have bad grades, noo, I got me a 3.4, it's just the fact that its college. It's crazy to think that this time next year I will be a college student. I just can't believe it. I won't see most of the people I see everyday anymore.

But i'm excited for something new. I'm pumped to start a new chapter in my life. I'm pumped for graduation. I'm half way through my last first semester in high school. I wrote the number of days in my agenda book until graduation. Its like 200 days or so away haha. We have to order our graduation announcements on Tuesday. My mom has already cried a number of times that "her baby is a senior." You know, the mom type of stuff haha. My dad has been going around singing the Memphis fight song whenever he sees me. And then Liz, well she's Liz.

I don't care that I'm staying close to home. Honestly, I really don't want to go far away. I want to be able to stay close to my parents. I'm not ready to just leave them yet. I'm far enough away that I can take care of myself, yet still close enough to go home when I need them. And I have a ton of friends in the Memphis band. I'm pumped to play in that band ! I'll get to play with Brian again ! I'm super excited for that.

I can wait for college, but I want it to come faster. I'm not ready to grow up quite yet. But I'm ready to meet new people. I'm just pumped for whats to come.

Well, time to go apply for a few more colleges just because I can.
