that last night was my last high school marching competition. I'm sad, yet happy. I'm happy that I have done 4 years of marching and never got tired of it. Yet, I'm sad because it was my last one. If you don't know me, you don't know how big of a band geek I am. I breathe band. Our last competition was Bandmasters at the Liberty Bowl. We came in 7th, but I don't care because Houston lost !! Thank god ! If they had won, my last competition would have sucked. Munford came in first and Arlington in 2nd. They deserved it, they were really good.
We got to see the University of Memphis band and I got to see some of my friends who have graduated and are in that band. I can't wait to march there. It looks like so much fun. I'm pumped to go to Memphis for college.
But yeah, now to look forward to the rest of my band year and whats to come. I'm excited for it all.
